Throughout her career, Katy has successfully competed dozens of horses through the levels of eventing; she is passionate about introducing young horses to the sport and helping them develop into confident competitors, whether for herself or for their owners.
Of her own personal rides, most notable has been her success on horses owned, bred, raised, or trained by her mother, Teresa Groesbeck. These horses include Maestoso’s Waltz, Zigarette, Oz Poof of Purchase, and Blue Squiggles. These horses all competed at their first events with Katy and went on to compete through various levels with her, including Preliminary with Zigarette and Blue Squiggles and the CIC3* level with Oz Poof of Purchase.
Katy also restarted and produced OTTB Roman Place through the Intermediate level before his sale to Lisa Updike.
